Ways to Be Involved with PAEA

Taking a cue from the upcoming theme of this year's pending PAEA conference, Make it Happen!, consider getting involved in a new way.  Have you made it to a recent conference? Make it Happen this year by joining us in Philadelpha.  Have you ever submitted a proposal to present at a conference? Make it Happen and submit an idea of something successful you've done in the art room.   This is also a great way to present content specific to a secondary audience.  Finally, have you recognized an outstanding art teacher through your organization? Make it Happen and nominate a deserving colleague today.

Details Here:

● Mark your calendar for this year's PAEA conference in Philadelphia: Thursday, October 6th - Sunday, October 9th, 2016.

● Also, start thinking about an idea you'd like to share at the conference and read about what's required to present.  You can learn more and submit a proposal here.

● Finally, please consider recognizing an Outstanding Art Educator.  The deadline is April 22nd and details may be found here.  Recipients will be awarded at the PAEA conference.

Remember, there are multiple benefits to participating in the awards program:

To focus professional attention on quality art education and exemplary art educators.
To increase public awareness of the importance of quality art education.
To set standards for quality art education and show how they can be achieved.
To provide tangible recognition of achievement, earn respect of colleagues, and enhance professional opportunities for PAEA members.
